Is there a drop-off permit?Updated 5 months ago

Delivery with DPD (Germany & Austria)

DPD also has a general drop-off authorization for your order, i.e. delivery may also take place without a signature. During the check-out process, you can define the desired drop-off location. Alternatively, you can add the drop-off location to your order afterwards by contacting our support team. Please note that we can only do this up to two working days before your chosen delivery date. Unlike UPS, you should receive a text message from DPD before delivery. You will have the opportunity to reply accordingly to define the drop-off location.

The drop-off permission is currently only available for deliveries within Germany and Austria.

Delivery with UPS (Germany)

A general drop-off permission is stored with UPS for your order with us, i.e. delivery may also take place without a signature. During the checkout process, you can define the desired drop-off location. Alternatively, you can add the drop-off location to your order afterwards by contacting our support team. Please note that we can only do this up to two business days before your chosen delivery date. After that, we can no longer intervene. Please do not change your delivery date in UPS myChoice, as we cannot guarantee cooling in this case.

Delivery with Swiss Post (Switzerland and Liechtenstein)

There is no drop-off permission for deliveries with Swiss Post. We are already in discussions with Swiss Post to enable a general drop-off permission for the future, so that a signature is no longer necessary and parcels are no longer delivered to post offices. Since we work with dry ice, which is classified as dangerous goods by Swiss Post, this is currently still the hurdle for the drop-off permission. An adjustment in favor of the drop-off permit is expected soon.

Delivery with Leen Menken (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg)

There is no drop-off permit for these countries.

Netherlands

Your package will be delivered in a refrigerated truck. The packages themselves are no longer insulated or equipped with cooling material in order to save packaging material and waste. Before delivery, you will receive a message informing you of an estimated time window of three hours. If you are unable to accept the package, a second delivery attempt will be made the next day. Please make sure that your neighbors are willing to accept the package for you if you are unable to accept it yourself, and that they can store the meals in the freezer until you are able to pick them up.

Belgium & Luxembourg

Your package will not be delivered in a refrigerated truck. Instead, it will continue to be shipped with insulation and cooling material. From now on, you will receive a message before delivery notifying you of an estimated time window of three hours. If you are unable to accept the package, a second delivery attempt will be made the next day.

Delivery to neighbors is active for all parcels (Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg) sent via Leen Menken. This means that your parcel will be delivered to your neighbors if you are unable to accept the parcel yourself. Please make sure that your neighbors are willing to accept the parcel for you if you are unable to accept it yourself.
