How do I recycle the packaging?

Our insulation mat is made from recycled paper and can therefore be disposed of in the paper waste. The cover is not a problem here. The film is separated in the recycling process in the pulper, just like adhesive tape, which is often still attached to the cardboard packaging in household paper waste. However, you are also welcome to do the separation in advance.

The cooling is a combination of dry ice and cooling elements. The cooling elements consist of water with a high salt content and can therefore be reused in domestic use. Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide (CO₂) with a temperature of about -80 °C. Please be careful with the dry ice packaging, which is made of plastic. Carefully grasp it by the tip and throw it in the recycling bin.

Why don't you use reusable packaging? 

We do not currently offer reusable packaging. We are committed to protecting the environment and are already working on solutions so that we can offer reusable packaging soon.

Until then, rest assured that all of our packaging materials are made from sustainable raw materials that are very easy to recycle.

This is how disposal works:

• Cardboard box: Our cardboard is fully recyclable and can be disposed of with paper waste.
• Insulation: The insulation can be disposed of as a whole in the paper waste. Cooling elements: The cooling elements are to be disposed of in the plastic waste. You can also reuse the cooling elements.
• Dry ice: The dry ice can be disposed of in the paper waste in a closed container (do not touch with bare hands!).
• Folding boxes: Simply dispose of them in the paper waste.
• Bags: Please dispose of the empty bag in the plastic waste.
